The father frowned.<\/p>\n
“Plumber?”<\/p>\n
The mother’s face turned bright red.<\/p>\n
Thinking quickly, she laughed nervously.<\/p>\n
“Oh yes! The sink was clogged!”<\/p>\n
The husband nodded.<\/p>\n
“Makes sense.”<\/p>\n
She sighed with relief.<\/p>\n
Then the younger daughter innocently spoke up.<\/p>\n
“Yeah… but he never fixed the sink.”<\/p>\n
The husband looked confused.<\/p>\n
“He didn’t?”<\/p>\n
“Nope.”<\/p>\n
“He and Mommy just kept practicing wrestling in your bedroom.”<\/p>\n
Silence.<\/p>\n
Complete silence.<\/p>\n
The mother’s fork slipped from her hand.<\/p>\n
The husband slowly turned toward her.<\/p>\n
“Wrestling?”<\/p>\n
The little girl smiled proudly.<\/p>\n
“Yep!”<\/p>\n
“Mommy kept yelling…”<\/p>\n

“And the plumber left through the back window.”<\/p>\n

Then calmly picked up his napkin.<\/p>\n
Wiped his mouth.<\/p>\n
Stood up.<\/p>\n
Walked to the kitchen.<\/p>\n
Everyone held their breath.<\/p>\n

Holding a phone.<\/p>\n
He handed it to his wife.<\/p>\n
She looked terrified.<\/p>\n
“What is this?”<\/p>\n
He smiled politely.<\/p>\n
“The number for a real plumber.”<\/p>\n
She looked confused.<\/p>\n
“Why?”<\/p>\n
He grinned.<\/p>\n
“Because tomorrow…”<\/p>\n
He pointed toward the kitchen sink.<\/p>\n
“…you’re fixing it yourself.”<\/p>\n
Even the kids burst out laughing.<\/p>\n
